Don’t Let it Fall: Live book reading with Arnold Marsden
March 29, 2022 @ 19:00 - 20:30 SMT
In the upcoming webinar hosted on the DROPS Asia LinkedIn page, we will be interviewing Arnold Marsden who has just released his book DON’T LET IT FALL : Stop Dropped Objects, Save Lives.
Arnold Marsden was a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional for an international oil and gas company for over thirty-five years. His last position was Global Dropped Objects Focal Point, a role created to reduce the largest contributor to the company’s serious near misses. He helped businesses around the world share and learn best practices and drove continuous improvement. High risk dropped objects fell by more than 30 percent in two years.
Prior to that, he was the HSE Manager on several multi-billion dollar global projects. In that role, he worked with dozens of business partners around the world to prevent harm to workers in projects filled with serious hazards. He had the opportunity to observe safety leadership skills of a diverse group of leaders and coached them and their teams on how to become more effective safety leaders.
He enjoys sharing his knowledge with others, continuing to learn, and helping others improve. He has retired from the corporate world, but continues to help others through networking, coaching, and writing books like this one.
DON’T LET IT FALL is Arnold’s first publication and he is currently in the final stages of writing his second book which is focused on safety leadership.
Following the Webinar, you are invited to join us in the DROPS Metaverse where you will be able to network with Arnold and other participants of the event
